So DS has been using a push walker since right after Christmas, he of course is getting faster and can navigate that thing like crazy around tables and such. But he has been doing this for weeks now but has not made any effort to walk on his own. Not sure if these are now hindering him b/c he is so dependent on it or if it is just when he is ready. Anyone else's LO use these and when did they start walking on their own?
Re: Walking
My LO didn't start "walking" until around Christmas (12 months); it was more like holding onto things and using strollers to get around. She didn't really start walking on her own two feet without any assistance until late January (13 months). Now, at 15 months, she's a speed walker and walks everywhere.
According to my mother, I was the same way, didn't start walking until I was around 13 months. Your LO will feel brave enough to walk on his own soon enough.
