I'm on goodreads.com and I'm trying to hunt down books I've read to rate them (I'm bored). I cannot remember the title or author of a book I read in high school. It wasn't an awesome book but this is going to bug the hell out of me until I remember. I only remember the basic outline of the book. So, help me out here and tell me if this rings a bell at all:

 Girl is dating guy. Girl goes to bonfire party <<BLACKOUT>> in hospital, can't remember the night clearly but she's badly burned. Apparently someone threw gasoline on the fire to make it bigger- male friend in hospital as well, she thinks it's his fault, she mad, yo, but on the inside. Something about a necklace being burned in to her skin. Friend dies after a while, she finds out it was actually her boyfriends fault that the friend put gasoline on the fire. Catches boyfriend kissing some other girl.

that's the gist of what I remember. Is this clicking for anyone?

I just did 15 google searches. I found it after using quotes, "teen novel" "party" "bonfire" "burned"
