I'm here. DS has been sleeping since 7:30pm and will probably be waking soon to eat. I'm trying to get him on some sort of schedule but these last few days he has been all over the place with his sleep.
We are taking a road trip soon so I was cleaning out my car and I found Jake's hat from the hospital. The pink and blue striped one that everyone gets. Awww...it's so little! I tried it on him and it barely fit on his big head.
I should probably go to bed but I'm just not tired. I think the depo shot is giving me a bit of insomnia. I'll probably be here for a while.

Ugh, I hated depo. It made me gain like 60 pounds in 6 months. I had just lost a good chunk pf weight when I got on it. It sucked, but I don't react well to a lot of hormones. I say this as I'm in perpetual spotting mode from my mirena.

I was crazy angry yesterday and wasn't sure if it was depo or my family drama. Today I am better so I'm pretty sure it was my family drama. I am almost back to prepregnancy weight so if I gain I will be really pissed (and have to find something else).
I thought about going on Mirena but because of the process my ob's office follows, by the time I was able to order it, it wouldn't have arrived this month so I needed something in the mean time. Then when I was getting the depo shot the nurse told me sometimes the insurance company says they will pay after the fact but they don't and I might be out the $800+. Now I'm not sure I want to risk it.
If DH would just get snipped this wouldn't be an issue. He wont even consider it. Considering I had to practically force him to get the flu shot (because it would hurt), this shouldn't surprise me.

I am not cut out for a screaming baby.
I give up. Seriously, this kid is going to be the death of me. He screams all night for the last week. Then he wakes up, and screams some more.
How do people with colicky babies do it? Honestly. I really don't know. This crap is going to make me bonkers. By the end of the day I'm near tears or in tears. I drank an entire bottle of wine last night while I sat in my dark kitchen crying.

Ugh, I'm sorry! Have you taken him to the pedi to rule out an ear infection or anything else. I've taken DS before when he's like that because I need someone else to tell me it is what it is...
I hope he finally settled down for you and slept.

Wow, this is a very non-epic roll call thread.
I'm playing online games. Should go to bed soon.
Drive by boob posting before I go to bed.
