I swear it's my last one for today! Names have just been on my brain lately. This name has grown on me and I find myself suggesting it often. However, there is a twist. One of my friends named her boy Von years ago (he's about 10). She is one of those real competitive types that would probably make a big deal of it. I can't decide if that matters to me or not.

What do you think of Vaughn?

    Not really a fan. Seems like a NN to me. One syllable names I like : Pierce, Reid, Brooks, Grant, Rhys, Finn

    What did you end up naming your first child ? I haven't been around for awhile.

    I know this seems really strange but I have a 4 year old brother named Vaughn. We're almost 21 years apart b/c my parents were 15 when they had me. Anyway, I love the name! I like unique names that aren't too crazy.

    I really like it and it would probably be on our short list if it wasnt my DH supervisors name! 

    I'm into the last name as fn trend though. And I'm also a Stevie Ray Vaughn fan.

    fwiw, i super dislike the spelling "Von". erg

    I love it and it's on our list as well spelled just this way. 

    Not sure what to do about your friend though, sounds like she'd get her panties in a twist about it.

    The more I say it, the more I kinda like it.

    And personally, I wouldn't worry about your friend. If you like a name, use it. She'll get over it ;)

    This is my brother's name with the exact spelling. He loves his name since it was very uncommon unlike mine.

    I actually really like Vaughn but don't think I would ever actually use it.
