3 to 2 Naps

My LO currently takes 3 naps - Two 30 minute ones in his crib and One 1 hour to 1.5 hours in his swing. 

 How many naps does your LO take? If they take 2, when then they move from 3 to 2?

DS just within the past week dropped to two naps. He's 8 months old. He used to take three 30 minute naps. He now takes one nap that's usually about 40 minutes to an hour, and another nap that's usually about an hour and a half.

We're on 3 at 8 months. 2 hours, 1 hour and 1 hour so a total of 4 hours. DS could probably go to 2 soon. Most babies only go to 2 at around 8 months so you have a ways to go.

DS just turned 7mo.  He went to 2 naps at 6 months and so did 2 of my other kids. I had one who took a 3rd nap until 7-8mo.  That said, his bedtime for the night is 6-6:30.

DS has recently started adjusting his naps, around 8 months, although this week he's been swinging back towards 3. Normally it's an hour in the morning, 45mins around noon, and 30 in the evening. When he does 2 naps, it's 1.5hrs late morning, 30 mins in the afternoon.

Just a few days ago he went from 2 long naps and one short, to 2 long naps. He seems to be following the 2 3 4 schedule.

He turned 6 months a couple of weeks ago.

Around 7 months. Eventually she will take a 3rd nap here and there.

8 months and still three naps - longer one in the morning and two shorter ones in the mid-day and early evening.
