Literally, really. DD has been going a whole lot less #2 now that she's eating more solids. She's certainly not nursing any less, though. Was this the case for anyone else?

I wouldn't say fewer for DS, but overall probably less per day. Instead of 1 or 2 big diapers full like before, now we get a little bit in most of his diapers. And, it's definitely more firm! No more pastey crap -- literally!! LOL
The frequency lessens, they get solider the more real food they eat and, best of all, the color and odor can change depending on what they ate. Fun times.
We get constipation if we aren't careful. When EBF DD would poop once every 2-4 days, and it wasn't an issue. Now, if she doesn't poop one day, I take measures (ie prunes or pears) to make sure she poops the next day. When I didn't, she had one that was so hard she was crying when she finally did go.
This is what I am worried about! She hasn't gone since yesterday morning, and it was only a little, and she usually goes once a day.

Have you found anything that really gets her to go?? Prunes, peaches carrots and pears all constipated DS like crazy.. Apples and bananas help him go.. It's funny how bananas are said to be a binder and prunes the opposite, but n. DS they are completely switched!

Prunes work for us. Just the Gerber organic ones. Yogurt really constipates her. Banana isn't so bad.
It's only really in the last two days that she's let me feed her much by spoon, and the first day it was a carrot, mango, and apple mash, and yesterday we gave her pear puree. She's been feeding herself lots of avocado, bread, and mangoes. She still hasn't gone, but she seems happy and her belly feels soft. I'll probably call the pediatrician tomorrow, just because I can't help myself.
Re: On the subject of solids...
Yes. DD has gone from several poos a day to 1 morning poo.
