Fever and throwing up

Dd is 11 months and she's never been sick and no teeth. Today she was fine but when I picked her up at MIL, she was very Whiney, and didn't wanna eat and very hot. Took her home, she just wanted to cuddle and had a temp of 100.4. Then she threw up a lot. She didn't want any food or water and I forced her to take Tylenol. She seems a bit better now, is standing and cruising. But someone said not to give her cows milkwhich she drinks. And tips/suggestions????

with fever and throwing up I would call your pedi.

She only threw up once and seemed to feel much better. She started standing and playing and didn't throw up again. Fever went down too with Tylenol. But now that she's in bed she's starting to sound nasaly

Was it a phlegmy throw up? If so, DS ran a mild fever100.4 and threw up once phlegm like, then nasal sounding. Turns out it was a cold. Took him to pedi. Elevated his matress, ran cool mist humidifier, used saline mist when clearing nose often. It ran in course in 7 to 8 days. Oh, and tylenol as needed. I was told if his fever spiked higher, then call pedi, but that wasn't the case.

I hope your LO is feeling better. My LO has had a stomach bug a few times, and the most recent, he got really warm, really upset, threw everything imaginable up in 4 hurls over about an hour, and then was perfectly fine. I thought something didn't agree with him at dinner until DH started puking the next night, followed by me the night after that. I hope you all stay healthy!
