crib skirt on crib with drawers underneath?

Just wondering if we should get a crib skirt when the crib we got has a drawer underneath?  If the mattress is at the highest setting would you still see the skirt?

Re: crib skirt on crib with drawers underneath?

  • Our crib has one drawer underneath. With the mattress on the highest settings, there's a big gap between the mattress and the drawer, so we use a crib skirt. When the mattress is lower, I take out the skirt because it just gets in the way.

  • I would definitely add a crib skirt.  When the mattress is at its highest you will see everything in the drawer.

  • Yes, with the mattress as high as it can go, you can see the entire skirt. I just recently took the skirt off when I had to lower the mattress to its lowest setting.
