toy stairs?

DD is *obsessed* with stairs.  We don't have any stairs in our house, but anytime we are anywhere with stairs, all DD wants to do is go up and down, up and down...

Has anyone seen any sort of toy / structure for the home that has stairs?  In my head I see some sort of gymnastic mat stair step, but I don't know if that's the best idea...  Any other ideas?

How about an indoor slide. LO can go up the steps and down the slide. Usually they have only a few steps to go up.

Thanks, graceful!  This is what I had in mind b/c it seemed soft but the problem is where would the stairs go to?!  LOL.  I swear - DD would be in heaven if she could be in an MC Escher drawing!

And the slide in your previous post looks AWESOME!  I love how it is stairs instead of rungs/rails to climbs.  Too bad it's $$$ and rather large.  Hmmmmm...

Thanks, yeah, maybe I'll look into some sort of slide.  In my head, toddler slides had more like rails to climb than steps to climb.  The one in the previous post with steps is really nice!

Does anyone have a slide that they recommend/their LO likes and can use okay at this age?

haha!! The answer to your question about where the stairs would go to is in my siggy pic! DD is obsessed with her ball pit (a baby pool with balls in it). You would probably want more balls to cushion the jump in from an elevated place. That would be so fun though!

DS has this one, it only has one step but he loves climbing all over it. Although he is just about to outgrow it.

Step 2 has a ton of climbers/slides that look awesome. We will be upgrading to a bigger climber soon.
