The drive in sucked but at least it's pretty!! We've gotten about 8 or so inches at least over the past couple days...hope the rest of the midwest bumpies who are getting snow are staying safe!

We've gotten 1 inch so far of the 7-10 inches expected here in NW Chicago suburbs. Others are "so over" the snow but since we didn't have snow until late January I'm fine with one more big snow.

Sad thing is I took all of DH's shirts to the cleaners (except for two for him to wear in the two days before I pick them up) only for him to remind me he has an important interview on Wednesday and one of the two I left is too "funky" for the interview (it's a olive green) and the other has a hole and he only wears with a sweater. I have to drive to the mall in this snow storm and shop for a shirt. Yuck. But you're right, at least it's pretty!

We could use the snow here(Western Colorado). It hasn't snowed in almost a month which means we're probably looking at water restrictions this summer....

That is some view...very pretty but be careful out there. I'm in TX so we will NEVER see anything like that here. I miss PA (moved to TX from there) for the seasons. I miss snow but hate the cold.

You sound like my husband! He moved from PA to TX and really misses the seasons. I moved from Canada 17 years ago and do not miss the cold one bit....just the beauty.

Very pretty!! We had a blizzard last week here in Oklahoma, driving in it does stink!! Thankfully just rain in the forecast for this weekend, for now anyways!

It's supposed to stop by noon so you should be ok...I'm guessing some flights will be delayed but not too bad probably.

haha...don't get me wrong I don't miss the cold either, I have bad circulation in my fingers, my finger nails will turn blue. I agree with you...just the beauty of it. Smile

The comments on the Texas heat starts around May, then is in full force when at the Pumpkin patch in October when it is still 85 Wink

Oooh, ooh.. I'm with you on all of this! Except I'm in the west suburbs. Will you be going to Woodfield? I haven't been there in almost a year, and I'm kind of missing it.

God, I cannot think of the last time I went to woodfield. It's a good 30 minutes in good weather from me. I live in the FAR NW suburbs so I went to Algonquin Commons, it's only 4 miles from me. I did skip through a red light and almost got t-boned. And I tried slowing to a stop WELL before the light so when I went sliding through I was only going about 10 miles per hour. Thankfully the other car had traction and was able to stop and let me slide past him. It's times like this I wish I didn't drive a sedan.
