Ok, so someone please tell me this will get better??? LO has been an awesome napper for like the last 6 months, he goes down easy, sleeps for usually a full hour each nap (just 2 now), no issues. Over the last few weeks he's gotten worse and worse. He doesn't want to nurse and he doesn't want a bottle, he just will twist away and scream. He's obviously tired (red eyes, rubbing eyes, yawning, face rubbing, etc), but he doesn't want to nap! I've just been putting him in his crib and he'll cry anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes til he falls asleep. He's had his first 2 teeth come in about 2 months ago, and now he has 6 total with I think 2 more about to cut. I think he's also on the verge of walking so I know he would rather play than sleep but good grief!!!
So I just want some reassurance that this is a phase and he'll get back to normal soon!!!
We've been using motrin at night which has helped tremendously, but does anyone have any tips for nap times? I hate to keep medicating him if that's not the real problem. ::sigh::

I agree with all this. We are going through it right now with DD2. I totally agree that it seems to be developmental -- there is a lot going on right now.
This was a big problem for us a couple months ago. He was just getting over his 1st cold, and he fought naps worse than ever before. It took about a week before he was back to normal. He was sleep trained when this happened, and it was almost like he had to relearn. It's rough, but it doesn't last forever
