My son was doing good with sleeping in his crib until his mom started putting him in her bed. When he comes to my house and I try to put him in his crib, he throws a tantrum but as soon as I put him in my bed, he falls right asleep and sleeps good all night long.
I am wondering if its something with being in a crib that's upsetting him. He is 17 months now and I am wondering if now is the time I should consider converting his crib into a toddler bed or put him in his own bed with added bed rails on each side.
He will pretty much sleep anywhere but not in his crib! I even tried to trick him one night and waited until he was in a deep sleep on the couch and quietly carried him to his crib, as soon as I put him there, he woke up crying! I took him out and put him in my bed and he fell right back asleep! Go figure! LOL!
