Dear lord, my daughter has become terrified of the auto flush potties at the indoor pool we go to. This has become a HUGE problem as the last two times we've gone to the pool she's needed to poop. Soon I think it'll be ANY auto flush and that's a big problem!
I have a solution. I have two actually. First, friends said to start carrying post-it notes to cover the sensor on the auto flushers. Second I'm getting some of these Flip Potty things till she trusts that the potty really won't flush 'till she removes the post-it.

Re: DD terrified of auto flush toilets
Definitely use the post it notes.
as far as the flip potty, I can't really tell what it is supposed to do....is it just a stand alone potty.? If so, I wouldn't waste my money on them (personally). $7.50 for just 3 potties is sort of pricey.
I have the 2-in-1 Potette plus. Iis a stand alone potty and ring and only $12-$15 on amazon depending on the color. I use Sassy diaper sacks (amazon or Walmart) which are super cheap. Works great for us. We used it a lot at the pool last summer as she was going anywhere near a regular toilet at that time. We then used it a lot as a ring and now we don't need it so much anymore.

Actually I just found a 12 pack for about $10 but it's not too pricey even at 8 for 3 IMO for the times we go to the pool. I had to make a toilet paper pallet on the floor for her to poop on (in desperation) last time.
They come individually wrapped and folded up to the size of a romance novel and unfold to be a stand alone potty where ever you could possibly need one then you throw it away.
I can't deal with carrying a kinda big portable potty with us to the pool. I am usually alone with both kids and all the gear as it is and I'm pregnant! She normally doesn't need any thing but the same potty I would use and this thing (pictured below)looks to take up a bunch of space. If she couldn't sit on a regular potty it would be pretty great, like maybe when she was 2. I'll keep this potty in mind for the boys when they are potty training if they can't sit on a regular potty.
