Graco headwise

Anyone have the graco headwise or the size 4 me?

Re: Graco headwise

  • I have the MySize70. The Headwise, MySize and Size4Me are the same exact seat but the Headwise has added safety surround in the headrest.

I love my seat, but I will be honest and say that I am on my 5th one. Unfortunately, Graco CS will tell you that it is not a known issue, but that is a lie. I have worked closely with them in trying to resolve the issue. I had several conference calls with them and their engineering team. My current seat is a breeze, but there are MANY people that own seats with the harness issues. Graco has been great about either replacing them or refunding them, but unfortunately it seems to be hit or miss on whether or not the seat has problems.

I am a tech on the facebook page Car Seats for the Littles, and there are numerous posts about the seats on there. I do think the seat is awesome, if you get one that works. :) It will last a very long time. My 2.5 year old is about 36" or so and 34lbs. He rides rear-facing in the MySize70 still.

  • I have the Siz4Me and really like the seat. We haven't had any problems tightening ours yet. It's pretty much like any other seat. Sometimes you have to fiddle with it to make sure the straps are tightening evenly on both sides. DD2 is 2.5 years, 38", and 32 lbs and comfortably rear facing. The seat does sit up a bit higher than some others, so it is getting harder to lift her into the seat, and I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do post c/s.

My 51" tall almost 7 yo still fits harnessed into this seat, which is pretty impressive considering she outgrew every other convertible seat on the market around 4.5-5.5 years.
