Am I the only one who doesn't really like jeans on toddlers?? Every time I get DD a pair of jeans, I feel like they just don't fit her well and I'm constantly having to pull them up so that her little butt crack isn't showing, lol! Maybe it's just because I have a skinny kiddo, but jeans on DD drive me nutso!

Do you like/dislike jeans? Do you have a specific type of pant/shirt that you don't like on your kiddo?

It all depends on the brand.  Old navy and gap fit these two the best, other brands slide right off

I like jeans but buddy is super skinny but has my badonkadonk so jeans fit him fine.

I hate crocs. I judge the shizz out of anyone that wears crocs unless its like to garden.

I love jeans on her. It's pretty cold here so they tend to be warmer than tights. She is a peanut though so getting the right for is tricky. We have a couple pairs of Cherokee that fit her well.

They don't seem comfortable for DD so I usually avoid dressing her in jeans.

I like jeans, but it's been really hard to find some that fit her waist and legs.  I really like the stretchy waisted jeans/khakis from Children's place.  I can usually get them for under $10 on sale too!

For those that think jeans don't look comfortable, do you not wear jeans? I would never be caught dead out in public in sweats so I'm not taking my kids out in them. Also I think their jeans wash up nice and soft

My son is thin too. At almost 2.5, he's 26 pounds. The best fit for him is from Children's Place. They seem to run slim and are a good length for him.

I don't dislike jeans on girls, but if I had a daughter she probably wouldn't wear jeans as often as my son does. He wears them almost everyday because there's not much else for him to wear to daycare, other than like athletic pants. There are so many other cute options for girls.

Asher pretty much only wears Jeans.  I like Osh Kosh, because they have the internal sizer in the waist and he is skinny and tall, so it allows him to wear pants that actually fit the length he needs without them falling off his no but.

Gymboree jeans are by far the cutest but I never buy them because I can't spend 20something dollars on toddler jeans. He get's them from his papi and nana

I only buy Old Navy jeans because they look adorable on him. However, the "loose" fit type is awful on him. 

He is also long and skinny so Carter's jeans are a no go.

Jeans have never worked well on my chubalicous DD. She's in stretch pants or leggings if she's not in her jammies all day.

I think she looks cute in jeans.  I like her Gap jeans the most, but they aren't stretchy at the waist so she doesn't like to sit in them very much except when they ride down on her (since she doesn't have much of a butt).  I have some cheap Target jeans for her that fit her great at the waist, but look awful everywhere else.

It is really hard to find the right toddler jeans.

OMG I've been eyeing them! She has a green day at daycare which is the perfect excuse for me to get some!

I wear jeans out, but at home I am in something more comfortable. Since dd is just playing at dc all day, I put her in leggings or sweats because that is what I would wear. She is very tall so jeans that fit her length wise do not fit her waist. So there are a few reasons she rarely wears jeans.

Is your 3yo in preschool this year? If you do a school with indoor/outdoor shoes, you will get to know crocs whether you want to or not. The little ones just love those ugly things- I give them a pass with the gardeners, though.

He'll start preschool in the fall. But I'll never buy crocs ; he has several pairs of keens. They work like crocs but aren't so terrible

Agreed. But then I'll wear yoga pants in public. I sincerely DGAF some days.

I don't judge others for wearing sweats/yoga pants in public. Just not my thing. Unless I am actually just done running and run to the grocery store. Then I give myself a pass

I think dd looks adorable in jeans, but she hates to wear them. She will tolerate jeggings, but I think those are ugly..

I love jeans on my kiddo - he looks awesome in them.  Of course, I would also live in jeans if my work would let me, so there's that.

The best for B are Children's Place jeans.  Normally he has no butt, but cloth diapers make his rear nice and fluffy so the jeans stay up.

DD looks adorable in jeans, and I put her in them some, but most of the time, she's wearing something I imagine would be more comfortable to play and nap in, like leggings or sweat-type pants. She also has some soft corduroy pants that are pull-on instead of zip/snap.

I hate jeans on children because they just don't look comfortable at all. I guess cause they aren't to me.

I don't like jeans on babies because they never seem to fit really well but on toddlers I think they are ok. My oldest son was skinny as he got older and we just bought the jeans that had a hidden button on each side. (on the inside) They were a hidden adjustable waist kind of like some maternity clothes. They were the only ones that fit him well.

I never put them on DD because I just feel like they're so uncomfortable!  I don't know.  I would wear stretchy pants every day if I could get away with it (I can't).  Why shouldn't DD take advantage while she still can?

I like them on her--but since she still naps, and they just don't seem comfortable when napping--she doesn't wear them often.

She wears a lot of skirts/leggings/tunics/dresses etc---soft fabrics that seem comfortable for naps.

Jeans are virtually all my kid wears.  He has a couple pairs of khakis and a couple of those thinner pants (not warmup pants - the kind that you can roll up and button from Old Navy) but really, almost all jeans, all the time.  He never goes out in sweats.
