Hi - just curious, when you host a baby shower, do you list the names of all the hosts on the shower invite?
I only ask because all shower (wedding or baby) that I have received or hosted, the names were on them regardless of how many hosts. I am part of a group of 8 women that is hosting a baby shower for my SIL. The women doing the invites just listed "Hosted by family and friends of X and Y". I don't really care either way but it just seemed strange to me to not see the host names. Wondering if this is another regional type of thing.
Re: Host names on baby shower invites
My Blog
I've only been to a handful of baby showers, but I don't remember having "hosted by" on the invites at all. The last one I went to (my cousin's 1 year ago) there were just RSVP's to my aunt and my other cousin. No hosted by.
I live in the Northeast. Not sure how it's done elsewhere.

TBH, my eyes would explode to see eight people listed as the host. "Friends/Family" is just fine in this case.
And really, I don't think it's something that even needs to be mentioned on the invite. Most people figure "someone else" is hosting.. certainly not the mom-to-be.. At the shower itself one of the organizers can run through the list of everyone to thank them for pitching in, providing whatever, etc.
Agreed. Listing that many people would take up the entire invitation.
