I'm twelve weeks pregnant and this baby is just kicking my butt. Everyone is telling me that it's because I'm chasing after a toddler, but I'm not. He's a prety easy kid and for the most part, he likes to just play by himself unless Daddy is home. I've slacked on household chores and all I want to do is sleep

Did any of you feel this the second time around? My first, I had so much energy by this time. I'm just hoping it's a phase!
Re: More tired with second pregnancy??
I actually felt this the FIRST time around. Thank heavens I was in the middle of a job change, because I'd be awake for one hour, and asleep for 2, all though the day, and then get another 9-10 hours of sleep at night.
Just do what you can to keep going, and rest often.

I definitely felt more tired my second pregnancy - and DD is a good toddler! But even with a good kid, you aren't just sitting back with your feet up, or napping when you want to like is a little more likely before your first is born. What's killing me now is her fighting me on naps on the weekend...I want the nap more than she does that I'm breaking all my own rules and letting her nap on my bed next to me, just so I can get an hour to lie down.
Plus, you aren't quite out of the first tri yet, your energy is sure to pick back up over the next couple of weeks. Good luck!
I'm alot more tired this time, too. Even now in the second trimester. I also have a pretty good toddler, he does have his days, but he is a great independent player.
I was even more exhausted first tri, but I'm still dragging this trimester. I was hoping to regain a little more energy than this, but maybe somethings trying to prepare me for two!
