crying fits- need advice

Hey all,

 My 13 month old has been uncomfortable the last few days for no apparent reason. She cries, can't be held because she wriggles too much but seems to still want to be held on and off, tries to bang her head on the floor several times, drools, and vomits. We recently have been weaning her from breastfeeding to cow's milk, so I wonder if she is having problems tolerating it? She has always had small quanitites of formula at meal times with no bad reactions and usually she's fine after having cow's milk, so I am not sure. She also recently had a bad diaper rash that has since almost completely cleared up and before that we were sick for like 2 weeks with some kind of cold that progressed into a mild but lingering cough. Yesterday, I noticed a few bumps under her mouth that my husband said she woke up with (drooling maybe?). Also, yesterday her naps were way shorter than usual as if she's having trouble sleeping. Maybe none of this is relevant though because it could just be temper tantrums. Could also be teething? But it seems so extreme and it wasn't this bad when her other teeth came in- she has 6 front teeth so far. She refuses to chew on the icy chewers and I don't like giving her tylenol all the time so I use it sparingly. I am bringing her to the doctor today, but very confused so any advice is appreciated.

After I ruled out illness, when my DD cut her molars, it was very difficult and she got a face rash and then diaper rash.  The frozen washcloth tip worked well for her, but at the worst times I remember giving her Tylenol more than I wanted to (e.g. 1-2x a day for 3 days).  It was a month of hell - disrupted naps and overnight sleep (we started co-sleeping it was so bad), poor eating at times.  What do you know, two days after she cut her 4th molar, her mood and rashes and sleep all cleared up.  For 4 months she was back to being mostly reasonable and sleeping well, but it started again today ... eye teeth.  What did your dr say?
