Hi,

I dont' usually post here, but I was hoping that maybe somebody on this board has been through something similar. This board has many more lukers and posters, and higher traffic than my home board.

I was diagnosed with a skin ulcer, result of a seemingly completely random skin infection about 2 weeks ago. I was given a 10 day dose of antibiotics. The ulcer healed up, I finished the antibiotics, all seemed well. Now, 2 days after finishing the antibiotics, the ulcer is back, and angry looking. I'm going to go to a walk in clinic tonight. Has anybody dealt with skin ulcers/skin infections that were recurring with antibiotics?

Anybody know the next steps?

Oh, and to clarify, the ulcer is located at the incision from my c section.

Go to doctor now!  You need more antibiotics and need to rule out MRSA or any other bug.

Especially if the csection was recent.

Ah crap. Thank you ladies. I just called the hospital and was told to get in asap. Will be going this afternoon. I wouldn't have realized it was such an urgent matter, I was just going to head in after work. Thank you!
