I think a moby would be a lot more versatile. I haven't tried the nuroo, but it looks like it would be best for the itty bitty baby stage, when they like having their legs in, basically the first few weeks. The moby can carry baby with legs in or out. I also don't like Velcro as a closure.
The nuroo pocket has literally saved my life. It is the best thing ever. Now, I have a preemie who loves to be held close. She gets all crunched up in the moby, and the ergo isn't good for around the house.
The nuroo is comfortable, covers me up well, it's easy to put on without help, and secures her very comfortably.
It does look a little weird so I don't wear it out of the house, but it soothes my colicky baby like nothing else and lets me get something done
