If your DH was in charge of potty training your LO... how would he do? on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being worst {ie: my LO would have to train themselves} or 10 being best {ie: He would have them trained in 1 Day!}) LOL.

I think he'd be a 3 or 4. He just doesn't have the patience for her. DD loves to read books while she's on the potty. I always bring her a big pile of books, he brings her 3 or 4. When she gets up to go get more books, he gets frustrated and always tells her to get back on the potty. He doesn't get up to get her books. I don't think he listens or maybe he doesn't hear her as she's talking about what book she wants.
I do not what number he would be but it would probubly be higher than mine.1. He has more patience. 2. He is just done changing diapers. He also is home with DD all day right now so has the time. I tell him to go for it!
I'd give him a 9.. We use the 3 day PT method by lori Jensen, and it's pretty simple... DH can follow simple directions, and knowing there was an "end date" to the PTing was a real motivator to keep on the program!
I'd have to give him a solid 8 because DS basically pee trained himself, but I worked with him on pooping for a week and had no success. He insisted that I diaper him so he could run away and poop. Then I went away for a weekend and DH got DS pooping on the potty. Something about a "chuga-chuga poo poo" song.
We did the three day potty training method with our 22 month old. My husband was home for three days because of a work holiday and did the main potty training with her. He did awesome and she was almost fully potty trained by day three (one accident).
