So I am sitting in LD due to dull backache, slight cramping, and a heavy feeling. I really thought I was overreacting but then they told me I am 1to2 cm dilated and 50 effaced. Uhh I am freaking out because I am only 32 weeks 2 days! I know you can walk around a while dilated but this is scary.

Good thing you double checked so at least you know. Try not to stress too much though. It's not that uncommon and even for people who are 40 weeks it doesn't end up meaning much.

Thanks everyone. They are keeping me overnight for steroids and monitoring. This little boy better stay put!

Crazy!  Is that something they expect with twins?  My OB hasn't even started checking me at this point!

Thank you! I am home now thank god. Apparently its just something that happens to some women! I don't think you get checked until 36ish weeks unless something is suspected. Also, the doctor said most of women walk around dilated and don't even know it until they are checked.

 

 

I'm just saying- this boy better stay in his place. He already seems to be inpatient like me! Thanks for all the well wishes!
