SAHM or work?

Recently had to leave my PT job due to my child constantly getting sick and other special needs problems. Pulled my child from daycare but now I can't work.  Trying to find PT evening/weekend work or get someone to come to the house to watch my child then I can return to my current job.  No luck with either.  Those on line websites costs so much to find a babysitter.  Any suggestions of finding a part-time during the day babysitter or an at home daycare??

    We found our in home by word of mouth. Before we ultimately decided on her, we looked on our state's DHS website to see any violations.

    I would start asking around or check your state's website as a starting point.

    If you live near a college you can advertise at the career center.  College students tend to have flexible schedules especially in the evening. Also, if you happen to find a job at a hospital some have flexiable childcare centers.  My friend works at one and her center is open evenings and weekends.
