My daughter has had a slight egg allergy since the summer. We weren't too worried about labels that said manufactured in the same facility of products with eggs or even shared equipment. However, now she is diagnosed with a peanut allergy (we don't know severity since she never had one) so I am much more cautious with labels.
Those with peanut allergies-do you avoid everything that indicates peanuts (shared equipment/traces of peanuts/same facility/etc) I was at the food store and read some labels that say good manufacturing processes that avoid nuts, or something like that.
I am so confused about label reading! I never worried this much about egg and sesame (she was eating French toast nearly every day before diagnosed with egg and her bread for the last month had sesame seeds on it before diagnosed with her sesame seed allergy)
help!
