Vitamins

What kind of vitamins is your LO taking?  DS was taking Poly-vi-Sol in his milk, but think he can start taking gummies now.  Any good recs?

  • My kids do Flintstones chewables too. When they are 2-3 the bottle says to give them a half a vitamin.  We started DD on them a couple months ago when I ran out of poly-vi-sol, she likes the Flintstones SO MUCH better :-)

We don't do vitamins.  Offer a variety of food and there really isn't usually a need for them.

FYI, though, gummies do not have any iron in them, which would be probably the only thing I would be worried my kids don't get enough of, so maybe look into Flintstones Complete or something once you think he could chew it like a candy.

iron is mainly what i worry about too, but i don't think he is ready to take a Flintstones yet.  Who knows, maybe he is.  I will try them out and see :)

    Thanks for the recs! :)

  • We do kirkland chewable vitamins (compare to Flintstones).  Our pedi said not to do the gummy variety simply because they don't digest the vitamins as well in gummy form.
