It snowed here today too - but that is no surprise. I can NOT wait until it is 80 degrees out. I was watching it snowing and thinking about getting out to plant in my gardens... sigh...stupid winter.
You think you're all high and mighty now after your beej that you can just come in here and whip around your warm weather. Not cool, LD. I am freaking sick of winter.

Of course, a 3br/2ba house in any area with decent schools is 400k . So there's that.
A 3br/2ba house in an area with okay schools is easily half a million here. And it rains 9 months out of the year.
Wait. Why do we live here??
Dude, I live up near Seattle and it's like 200K for a 3br/2ba.
I'm in Portland.. and same here!
If you want to live in the suburbs...decent neighborhoods with okay-ish public schools in Portland itself (Laurelhurst, Hollywood, Alameda) are expensive!

400k?? I wish we could find that. Just bought a new home here looking to get into one of few decent schools, had to pay about twice that. Looking for a 2 bed/2 bath for my parents and there isn't much of anything in a decent area under 500k. Crazyyyyy

Sometimes I hate where I live, and then I remember our house is under $100,000 for a 4 bedroom right across from a school. It's inconceivable to me that homes cost that much money.

I grew up in SoCal. Now I live in the Midwest and my dad is always bragging to me when it's 80 degrees in the winter (probably trying to get me to move back!).
He never believes me when I tell him I love it! I never appreciated it when it was nice every day.

(and our house cost $168k)
I'm the opposite. Grew up in the Midwest, moved to SoCal. Can't leave now that I'm hooked on the weather. I love being able to take walks with DS at 7 in the morning in January
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
Re: 80 degrees today
This is my favorite time of year. Gorgeous weekends but it will be raining by the end of the week so I can still wear scarves and eat soup.
And I just accidentally found this. YW.

The forecast high here in Dallas today is 85. 85. In early March.
FML.
You and me both. I am in the midst of cabin fever right now, but it's looking like my area will receive some 50 degree temps by next week.
