this is my dream rocking chair, except for the price. has anyone come across something comparable but cheaper in their research?

Buy a used regular chair with that same shape/style and add rockers to the bottom.

I saw something very similar at my BRU, but more with arms than wings, which I like for breast feeding.  I didn't check their price, but don't think they carry any over 500.

That rocker is gorgeous! It's really distinctive looking, and rockers in general are not cheap. 

How about this? It doesn't have the cool wings though.
