pregnant after miscariage and break up

October 2012 i was pregnant and had a miscariage. I was devasted plus since me and my fiance broke up. We got back together but its not the same and we broke up again this valentines day 2013 and Im pregnant again. Im nerveous cause Im not over the 1st baby and all the other things that come with being a single mother. Almost had my fairy tale and its gone. I had some very light spotting wednesday and although Its normal to bleed during first trimester I was scared and went to the e.r but everything was ok. After being there for hours. Went home and 2 sleep. Woke up the next morning with underwear full of blood. I was so scared and went back to the Emergency Room. Got the exam and ultrsound and baby is ok. Could stress be causing this? It is my first baby and Im still upset over my break up. Any tips would help I jus want a happy healthy baby

I'm very sorry for your situation. Stress cannot cause a miscarriage, though, so there's no need to fret on that count. Try and relax, if you can - I know that can be incredibly hard, especially when you have so much going on!

The ultrasounds at the ER are minimal, at best. I had an SCH which was. Aiding bleeding. During my pregnancy with DD. the ER couldn't see it, but my OB's ultrasound could. I'd make an appt with your OB to determine the cause of the bleeding. It ccould be an SCH, an irritable cervix, or low progesterone.
