Sleep while teething

My lo's have been napping a LOT lately. They were always short 30 minute nappers but the past few days they sleep at 2 hour intervals. They're showing no signs of illness and are normal when they're awake. I'm thinking its teething and was wondering if anyone has experienced a very sleepy baby during this stage? TIA.

DS started taking longer naps around this age, too. He has no teeth yet, but the extra sleep is doing wonders for both of us!

Well my LO used to only sleep for an hour tops during naps but 6 weeks or so ago she suddenly started sleeping so long that I basically have to wake her up now or she will sleep the day away. She did recently sprout her first tooth but I really dont think its related. I think they just become more efficient sleepers at this age.
