BPF: Oatmeal!

DD is SO not interested in being spoon fed, but she'll cheese like a fiend if I encourage her. It looks like she is enjoying this waaaaay more than she did!

Love her   And, keep at it.. she'll get it eventually   Are you still doing BLW, too?  If so, how's she doing with that?  We try doing some BLW in addition to spoon feeding.. but, DH and I both panic when DS gags.. he's really good at "gagging" and spitting out whatever made him gag.. but, still, it makes both of our hearts drop everytime it happens.. and, he's king of doing the silent gag.. where he makes a gag face, but doesn't make any sound.. cue panic!! LOL.

OMG YES! She does this to me constantly. We are doing a mix right now... I've been spoon feeding her something each morning, and then giving her something to feed herself when we have dinner. We haven't graduated to the point where I feel comfortable giving her some of whatever we're having, but maybe in the next month when she's a) less wobbly b) I've taken infant CPR (could never get into a class when I was pregnant) and c) she'll have had some time to get used to having stuff in her mouth. Here's hoping it goes better for your fella, too!

So sweet....G likes being spoonedfor the most part. I worry about the gagging too with blw, and if they swallow a chunk of whatever they're eating? Also, what kind of oatmeal do you give Miss E? I made steel cut oats, but I'm afraid they're too crunchy...idk, I'm going to go scour the interwebs for baby recipes now :]

I just used the little handmill to grind up old fashioned oats, and made it with BM and water. The baby food recipes I made are so delish... I have two cookbooks I can recommend, though Pinterest is just as good
