We are going to start cereal next week. LO is 4 months old and holds head and neck really well. I know it will only be very little for now but did you feed in the high chair or did you still do it on your lap?
You could do either but you will need a highchair eventually so I would just go ahead and get one sooner than later. If you have LO sit on your lap you will probably need one person to hold and the other to feed.
Fortunately, I already have the highchair and it reclines so she is not so upright. We did try sitting in it last night while we ate dinner and she seemed to like it except for the fact that she had to be strapped in.
We use the high chair and have for a few weeks. He loves it because it allows him to be more independent. Ours reclines also and kind of has sides so he doesn't slump in it.
We tried feeding our DS while holding him in our laps for about a week. It was frustrating for all of us, so we got him a high chair, which made feeding much more fun and relaxing.

I forgot to say, you may want to go ahead and just start sitting her in it. If DD is awake when we eat, she sits in her high chair reclined and watches us... she loves to feel like she's part of the action. And it's nice to have a place to sit her that's safe from DS.
