We are hosting a couples baby shower for BIL and SIL. It will pretty much just be hanging out eating and drinking, maybe some gift opening, but I'd still like to come up with a cute theme for invitations, decorations, etc. Ideas?
Make sure you have two separate showerheads with individual temperature controls. Having a bench to sit on is quite useful for various couples shower "activities".
Oh... baby showers? Nevermind.
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.

I had the same thought when I saw the title.
I would agree with the above ideas. Just no games. I don't think I would like that.

I wonder if anyone went out and bought double shower heads after the showering thread a while back...

For my shower (it was a surprise) was just like 10-12 people. Family and a close few friends. Husbands were invited. It was more like a big get together. Had food to eat and we played a couple games....not for prizes. We did the clothespin one where you steal a close pin if someone says "baby". It was actually a big hit with the guys!!!! They were really in to it!
It was more like a family function. My SIL did a bear theme. She had at mine and DH's table, a sign that said mama bear and papa bear. Couple signs hung up that said "welcome baby" stuff like that.
