Back Again

Hi Ladies-

Looks like I'm back after a short break. Dh and I will be going for our final IVF try with a new RE. Trying not to be regretful- but this RE has done so many more tests which might have helped change how the past cycles. 

(Warning: A little venting coming)

Looks like my AMH level is low. I don't know too much about it, but the nurse said for my age it should be in the 3's and it came back 0.77. My thyroid levels keep getting higher and my prolactin levels are high too. I need to find time to research all of this, see what I can correct and get moving with that AMH level.  This is such disappointing news considering I was supposed to be the one who was "ok" but we all know, being fertile is a luxury. Not sure how all of this mixes with DH's azoospermia. I am looking into taking time off from work with a claim into temporary disability. I don't know how this works, but I want to get lots done in a short time and work gets in the way. 

Thanks for letting me talk. If anyone has any sites for info on AMH or the other things- or if anyone has had success with disability claims, I'd love it hear from you.

    Me:29 DH:29  TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR/immune issues 
    Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
    8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow

    Hello!  Sorry you got that news.  It is hard!  I have been doing alot of reading and research on low amh because mine is 0.56 (and that was a year ago,hate to see what it is now).  I have read that you can't do anything to increase your egg supply but you supposedly you can do things to help with the quality of the eggs you do have left.  Alot of girls take DHEA.   I take Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen, COQ10, and Vit D.  I have heard of girls doing all this along with accupuncture and have felt it helped when they were cycling.  Good Luck!

    8/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 35,
    10/11 Clomid 50mg =BFN progesterone level 31,
    11/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 12,
    12/11 Clomid 50mg=Progesterone 31
    01/12-Break from meds-BFN
    Feb-cd3 blood work FSH(5), AMH(0.56) 02/12 Break....
    03/01/12-Clomid 50mg with IUI #1=BFN.
    04/01/12-Another round of clomid with IUI#2=BFN.
    5/8/12-Diagnostic Laparoscopy-found minimal endometriosis and small fibriod.
    June and July-much needed break
    August-Bravelle 75 with IUI#3- BFN
    September-Bravelle injects with IUI #4-BFP!! MC 10/7/12 : ( Sonohysterogram-Normal
    December- Bravelle(3 good follicles & E2 1252) with IUI#5 BFFN :*(

    Thanks. Your post had me intrigued with the Vitamin D part. I was found deficient over the summer. I am going to have my RE test my levels tomorrow morning (I was going there anyway). I am already taking the CoQ10 and the DHEA, as per RE's directions. I am scheduling a meeting to discuss all of this with him.
