Breastfeeding...

Question for you ladies on breastfeeding.

So as of like about a week or so LO has started to pinch my nipple between her gums and pull her head back with it between her gums. This just happens randomly while she's eating. It hurts sometimes, but not always. She also doesn't always do it.

Any suggestion as to why she's doing it? She will be 4 months March 9th.

DD does that when she's drowning in my letdown or when she has an air bubble that's hurting her.

My DS does this sometimes.  Sometimes I think that breast is empty and he wants to switch breasts.  Other times he does it a few times and I think he's trying to stimulate another let down because once I can feel another let down then he usually stays on the breast for awhile again.

So far it seems like for her that she's just playing with it because she's finished.

Wondered if it had anything to do with teething.

My LO does this when he's done eating, it's like he's trying to come up for air but doesn't want to let go.

DD does this. It's either a burp, empty boob, or she's just done!
