Walmart is running a sale on Dr Seuss books. Their board books are $3.50 and smaller hardbacks are $5. I found some in store, but they rang wrong, so watch out. (Sales clerk fixed it.)

While we're on the topic of books, sign up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library if it is available in your area.  Your child gets one free book a month until age 5 (I think).  I signed up with my MIL's address since we did not have a program here, and she brings the boys their new books every time she visits.  Some of them are really good! https://usa.imaginationlibrary.com/

That's awesome! The program isn't available in my area. The county I teach in has a program like this. They shared it at our United Way campaign last year. ...Correction: Upon further review, they participate in this exact program.
