Keeps waking at night!

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
My two and a half year old has been waking several times in night. Actually, he won't even go to sleep at night without one of us in the room. He wakes several times saying he is scared of the chop chop. We do life by a train that is loud, despite a fan and noise machine. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    So the chop chop is the train then? I would maybe take him for a drive and see the train, show him it's not scary. I think having a child face their fears and see that it might be a silly fear helps them to cope and get over it easier, of course depending on what the fear is.

    Maybe he could watch chuggington on tv? Just to see trains as cute fun instead of scary. Maybe a nightlight so the room isn't so dark scary?
