Saline dye test

I was told I need a saline sono test ultrasound done to see if tubes are still open. I had the dye test about 3 yrs ago. They now are doing the test without dye and without xrays, but my question is does it hurt!? They told me to take Motrin and I may have some cramping. Did anyone get pregnant after the test? Just wondering if it will halo chances...Tia!

    I'm having this test on monday! What I've heard is it is easier than the hsg. I'll be taking the advil and DH is coming with me because I'm always nervous about any procedures/tests. Hopefully we both get good news!

    I've had both and it is easier then an HSG! I took ibuprofen and had a little spotting and slight cramping! It was a little uncomfortable but not bad IMO! Good luck!
