So I know fashion is not everyone's driving interest, but I really love it. It seems like a lot of people are going the maxi dress route, but I'm wondering if anyone has any celebrity/model mums that they want to aspire to. I've always thought Victoria Beckham looks amazing in her pregnancies, though I can't say I love everything about her. Gisele also rocked some pretty cool maternity looks.
Anybody else planning a more fashion forward maternity style?
For summer I am all about dresses, pregnant or not.
If I never had to wear pants I would be happy, but I live in Michigan so they're necessary when it's cold!
I am probably going to dress up knee length or maxi dresses with a blazer or cardi for work and open toe flats or low wedges. Maybe some chunky necklaces or bracelets to fashion it up a bit more.
In my off time, dresses and sandals for sure. And a cute swimsuit.
I love fashion but I think since it will be the heat of summer when I'm at my biggest it's going to be comfort over anything crazy. I saw a really pregnant girl wearing 5" stilettos during a snow storm at the OB office the other day and I think that's just insane, but she did look super cute.
I'm obsessed with celebrity style and everything. I tend to gravitate towards the more boho pregnant celeb style(ala Nicole Richie), which is odd, because that's not really me at all. I just like that it looks stylish and relaxed and not too clingy! I'm sure hoping I can pull off a maxi dress when pregnant=)
I love clothes and fashion and I started out my last pregnancy buying cute maternity clothes, and trying to look put together. However, by about 35 weeks I settled into sweat pants and any shirt that covered the belly. I've already bought a few cute things for this pregnancy and am looking forward to wearing them.
Maxi dresses are so ugly! I'm sorry but the shapeless style ends up making me 3 inches shorter and 20 pounds heavier. Victoria and Katie Holmes are my go to mom style icons.

I am in MI too! I'm in the Metro D area- Royal Oak
I'm jealous of those who can pull of the maxi dress look. There are several really cute ones but I'm pretty short already and I find they make me look like a hobbit.
I'm going to try some maxi dresses, but I'm not sure how I'll feel about them. I have a couple short, comfy, jersey dresses from last time, so I'll probably wear those and then get some capris and/or shorts and tank tops. I'm off all summer so I plan to wear flip flops the entire time.
As for stars, I like Jennifer Garner a lot. She always looks nice and relaxed and comfy.

You'll probably be able to get away with non maternity ones when you have a big bump!
I was pregnant during the same time with DS and it was hard to want to be fashionable when it is 110 outside and your boobs look like cantaloupes.

Does anyone know of any good style maternity blogs they'd like to share?

Oh yikes... my boobs ALREADY look like cantaloupes, I am very, very afraid for the summer.
I'll do some digging...I have to admit I'm pretty anti boho, more black and hipster elements. But there is a blog for everything right!?
My friend stopped posting after her last baby, but she has a maternity style blog.
