Coming back (miscarriages mentioned)

Hello Ladies. I'm coming back after having a second miscarriage last month. I was on the board for a little over 6 months last year (June-Dec) so some of you might remember me. I had a missed miscarriage in May discovered at 11 weeks after having seen a heartbeat. I got pregnant again in December and again saw a heartbeat but at my 10 week appointment we learned we had again had a missed miscarriage. We had testing done this time from the D&C and we found out that this loss was due to a translocation between chromosome 13 & 14 and that we were having a boy.

I've just been trying to take my time in grieving and mainly have been on the miscarriage board but I'm finding myself lurking here more and more. We'll be seeing a genetic counselor in a few weeks to get their opinion on the chromosome results and I'll have RPL blood work done in 2 weeks. So for now we're TTA pending the results of all of my testing. I'm hoping to find some support here again during this time of uncertainty. I've lurked occasionally and am happy for all of the grads and sad to see those of you that I remember still here.

Welcome!  I'm sorry you're back though!    I've joined this awesome community within the last few months and so thankful for it!  I hope you get some answers after you're testing is complete!  The waiting period is tough.    (((HUGS)))
