My ten month old babbles a lot, but doesn't say any real words.
I see a lot of people saying babies her age are saying several words.
Are your babies starting to talk, or just still babbling?
I can't really tell if DS is saying any "real" words or not. He says "mama", "dada" and "woah" on a regular basis but I still can't tell if they have meaning behind them or if it's just babbling. Yesterday when he woke up from his nap he was crying and when I went in to get him he said "mama" in a super pitiful voice and held his arms out for me. Then a couple hours later he did the same thing to the cat. It's just so hard to tell!
My 11 month old tries to say "real words" i.e. she mimics really well, but she just recently started using specific words/sounds to mean the correct item. She's been doing mama, dada for a while, but now she'll say 'ba' for ball and 'nononono' when she doesn't want something (usually when we're trying to change her or feed her something she doesn't want). That's about it though.
LO will be 10 months in just over a week and talks all day but not much dada or gaga at all.. Mostly just noises. Our pedi didn't seem concerned at. 9 month appt. we just keep saying it to him all day, poor kid
Said mama this morning while I was feeding him for the first time, was wonderful! Sure he didn't mean it though but I'll take it for now. It will happen, some are just slower at diff things.
Mine babbles up a storm too, but doesn't say real words. The only words she says that I think just now she is starting to say them with knowing the meaning is mama and dada.
Same here...LO will have full conversations with us, his stuffed animals, his books, etc. nbsp;But for actual words....nothing yet. nbsp;
Dd is the same. She just jabbers happily along. She can say dad dat dada instead of cat che says kaa omefhing cunny she does is we will say no no no and she will go yeah lol
DS is 11 months 1 week and all he has been saying for the past 2 months or so is "gah". It looks like he's trying to say something else, but that's all that comes out right now. LOL
My daughter is 10 months and 1 week. She babbles a lot and says momma and dadda discriminately she also says yes and shakes her head no when she doesn't want something. We never babble at her or use baby talk. We were told it would discourage her from talking
