BPP?

Anyone else have their BPP around 36 weeks and get news that made their csection come sooner?  Mine is scheduled in about an hour and I just wondered if I should expect any dramatic news. TIA!

Is there a reason you are expecting concerning news? I had BPPs every time Baby B failed a NST (almost every time...stinker kept flipping away from the monitor). They were always fine. Although, at this point, I kept a bag packed in the car. You never know when the MFM/OB will send you to L&D for monitoring or delivery! GL!!

I would go into it not expecting anything dramatic to happen.  I had many BPPs and NSTs in the last 2.5 months of my pregnancy and I never received any dramatic news.  Even if they didn't get a perfect score, I was still able to go home afterwards.  Hopefully everything will be fine and you can keep those babies cooking longer.

If everything has been fine up to now I wouldn't expect anything "dramatic". Then again, it's always good to be prepared for anything. When I went in for my last growth scan/BPP I knew it was an important one but was still kinda shocked when they told me they were taking the babies that day. As always, it seems that with multiples you just never know. GL!

I have been having NST's & BPP's twice a week since week 32.  Even when one of the babies wasn't cooperating, they just had me come back in 24 hours to be reevaluated.  I wouldn't expect anything dramatic, I would say it's unlikely unless there is a reason you're expecting it not to go as well as it should.

dr sent me to LD for monitoring. baby A wasn't moving his arms and legs.

they looked good on the monitors. Lots of contractions that I wasn't feeling but no cervical changes. dr finally pulled out sono and shook baby a til he moved his hands. we go back for another bpp tomorrow afternoon.

BPP 2 showed both babies looking great! Thank goodness! we are back in the clear for now.
