Paci popping

My kid is addicted. How do I make it stop. I'm so tired. She wasn't bad in the rnp. I moved her to the pnp almost a month ago and some nights it starts at midnight and goes on every hour until she wakes for a bottle. Anywhere from 4 to 5 am or so. Maybe once or twice after she is back down.

Is there anything I can do to make this stop?

Eta: she's in our bedroom. I try and let her fuss a bit but I feel the quicker I get it back in the quicker I get to go back to sleep. Maybe that is a bad thing to do?

no advice...just wanted to comment that this post made me think of pussypoppin in many rap songs. I may or may not have sung the title of your post in that same fashion.

... and that makes two of us, HA!

Haha! I don't listen to wrap so I had no idea.

I'm not ready to ween, or wean? Her off of them. Maybe it is the way to go though.

Have you considered just weaning her from the paci altogether? Troublesometots has some info on doing that but basically she says that at this age it should be fairly easy to wean them as they haven't developed object permanence so its out of sight out of mind. So maybe try putting her to sleep without it and see how that goes?

That's exactly what I did last week and he doesnt seem to miss it.
