DD and I colored for a while and when we were done I gave her my picture. She said "you make this for me?" And I said yes. She said "thanks mommy I love it!" And then she took it to her play kitchen and displayed it!!! I could just die!

DS insists that I have both the remote ans the couch blanket when DH and I watch TV together. He'll demand that DH "Give Remote Mommy!" and he'll just take the blanket off DH and bring it over and lay it over me. Sorry DH!

He's 18 months. Not doing much of talking though but he makes up for it with huge hugs!  

Aww! DD didn't say much that age and then all of a sudden she was talking in sentences! It goes so fast. And sometimes you want them to stop talking! Lol

I can't wait for drawings! It was the best ever when Ds made his. DD says "Awww" after each hug and kiss. When she's playing with her baby she pats her on the back and says "shhh". She's a good mama.

Every single morning when DD wakes up she grins like crazy at every word I say. I seriously could melt into a big fat puddle. It's the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

This happened yesterday:

I took my 3.5-year old DD to get her hair cut. As she was sitting there, I asked her if she thought she would be pretty  like a princess with her new haircut. She said "no", so I asked her "Like what, then?"

"Pretty like Mama".

That is so sweet!!

DS is a pretty sweet kid, the past couple nights after I put him in bed I say "I love you baby" and he says "I love you too baby!". Cracks me up and is so sweet all at the same time.
