Hello Ladies!! I am new to this site and just thought I would give it a try. I have lots of questions, as I am new to TTC. I know asking my sweetheart can be such a long shot, considering he doesn't understand the changes we can go through.
So this month happens to be our first month actually tracking ovulation and attempting to BD on those exact times. Before TTC we just kinda went a long with it and didn't attempt any prevention. We've been doing that for a good 6 months now with no miracle babies. So I went out a bought a 7 day OPK tester and did them faithfully every day that I was in my fertile period. We BD'ed on Feb. 22nd which had shown on an OPK as negative for an LH surge. Upon waking up on Feb. 23rd I was unable to test right away, as my poor sweetheart wasn't feeling well and I wanted to tend to him. I did however manage to test later in the afternoon, where I received a VERY bright positive. Because of his illness that day we were unable to get another day of BD'ing in. We did manage to successfully have our fun on Feb. 24th as well. Which might I add upon waking up on the 24th I instantly noticed my usual Ovulation Pains. I am not quite sure how they work, whether the egg releases before, during or after you first feel the pains. I tested again and received another positive. After that I must've caught whatever he had the following days because I was under the weather myself. I guess my questions is, I received a positive on both Feb. 23rd and Feb. 24th. My sweetheart and I BD'ed on the 22nd and the 24th but were unable to do it anymore after. What are the chances that I actually caught my little eggy?? Or is possible that we've missed it?? I've heard that sperm can survive for quite some time another good conditions, I am just hoping the times we did BD were enough.
What's your opinion or similar stories. I would be 3dpo today. Thanks in advance for any advice I may receive.
