Their website says they've been crash tested, but I've ready posts that say they aren't safe. Does anyone know what's the truth? If they aren't safe what are some other options out there that are safe?
I work with a fireman's wife, and she said he won't let her get one because they aren't safe. They sell a lot of things for the carseat that he says aren't safe, but I'm going with what he says. Apparantly they're bad because they come between baby and the seat, which means you have to loosen the straps and make the seat less safe. BRU, Target, and Wal Mart all have coveres that go on to the outside of the seat with elastic, much safer and just as cozy! HTH ~A

there's these too: https://www.babypolargear.com/
Of course the manufactures website is going to say that it is safe, but I hardly think their testing is non-biased.
The only time I would use one is on a stroller. ?It is just not worth the risk and their are other options.?
