Are the seats fully upright? It seems like ALL the photos on Google show that it doesn't go into a fully upright position. Is that true?

Nope, not fully upright - they recline a good bit in the most upright position.

I have the 2008 model and it sits completely upright. My 2 year old still rides in it occasionally and that is the position where she is happy.
