Background: DS has PDD-NOS
Everyday, I made sure DS's stuffed lime green turtle and his stuffed Nemo were in his backpack every morning. And every evening I take them out because he sleeps with them every night. DS takes these two toys to preschool because they help him in class.
Last night, DS came home from daycare with no stuffed lime green turtle!
I have text messaged the preschool SLP, the private SLP and the ABA therapists if they have seen the turtle's whereabouts.
My parents ordered a back-up duplicate turtle that will arrive from Georgia next week.
DH asked the daycare and I have called the preschool and bus company this morning.
I am so sad because DS asked for his turtle twice last night.

He was not into getting dressed in the morning.
We used a substitute sea turtle this morning to put socks on it but he did not take it with him to daycare.
The preschool teacher's aide commented and said it helps him at school so much when I called to ask if they have seen it. The turtle even got a sticker for being good at preschool yesterday!
He still has his Nemo in his backpack but he is second best.
I might as well put lost turtle posters everywhere. I have a picture of him in an ice chest from Thanksgiving.
