So I never really posted on this board during my pregnancy because DS was due in Jan 2012. Once he arrived I lurked a little and then every now and then have posted. For the past month I was lurking on the TTGP board but no intro or anything, didn't really feel like I fit in there. Well yesterday got my BFP for #2 and went to lurk for a bit at NOV 2013 moms and there are just so many people on there and hard to follow or get a feel just yet.

So I just want to say thanks ladies for being so welcoming even though I joined well after most of you did

Congrats on the BFP!!  I am due with #2 in July 2013, and lurk there, but the same thing, there are SO many people!  I'm hoping once LO2 gets here that maybe the board will slow down and be easier to follow as this one did.

On a side note, the July 2013 had a facebook group that went completely wacko and dramatic similar to what happened to ours I guess?  It was kind of funny to read that thread, but it was a couple weeks ago.  I should have shared the link for some entertainment for you guys

Yay for BFP #2 and I'm glad you've felt welcome here!  (You are, of course!)

Yeah, I hear you about other BMBs...  I lurked on this board all during pregnancy b/c there was just way too much going on.  (as opposed to now....LOL)  

When/if I get BFP #2, even though I'm an active poster now (have an account, as opposed to before when I didn't), I'm not sure if I want to get into the crazy waters of 1st tri on another BMB...  We'll see.

Holy moley! What the $#@% happened on Nov13? I got a headache trying to find the beginning of all that mess. I'd much rather a dead board than all that crap to sift through. I really wish TB would adapt some rules that other sites have (like if you make an AE, your IP gets banned and you are no longer allowed to post-keeps the trolls out).

I am also on the Jan 2013 BMB, and that one is so tame and boring.  At times I would lurk on other boards for entertainment.

Congrats on your BFP! How exciting! Yeah, I am scared to post on TTGP. Those ladies are kinda crazy (not all, but some). There are just sooo many people on there too, and it is definitely "cliquey."

I felt like our board had a lot of people back in the day when we were all pregnant. Now, obviously, there aren't too many people that post regularly. That's cool, we have lives and toddlers (and some with infants again, gah!). I figure, we post when we can and want to and it's nice when our board picks up in activity and it's okay if there's a lull too. I am just happy that there is activity at all, because I really do like all of you regs that still post. :-) I didn't post regularly until DD was born because I wasn't overly comfortable posting back when I worked.

Congratulations!  I hope you are feeling well and that your pregnancy goes smoothly.  I have always thought this board was particularly welcoming for a BMB.  I never posted on the BMB for my son because they seemed so mean/snarky and the other ones I have been on were okay just not as welcoming as this one.
