If you work part-time

How many hours/days a week do you work? Do you like it?

Who watches the babe while you work? Daycare, spouse, family member?

There is a job position open that looks interesting to me, it is 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. It's not a lot of hours, but kind of sucks that it's split over 4 days. I'm torn on applying or not. We would have to put Anna in daycare and I don't even know if the salary would cover the cost of daycare. I'm just curious what others are doing and how it works for you. TIA!

I work 6 hours a day, 3 days a week. Cal stays at daycare and my income covers the cost of daycare, groceries, and gas (for H and me).

I work 24 hours a week, which is 3, 8 hour days. The girls are in daycare 2 days/week and DH stays home one day. I like it. I'm able to get out and have adult interaction and I can still do play dates and classes with the kids. Daycare has been great for the kids too. We could do without the expense, but I would rather have them interacting with kids than staying home. We are lucky that we have a place nearby that allows us to choose our days and times.
