Plopable poops

Im still a little confused about when to spray/dunknswish. This morning c had her first bm in our cd's (we've been using all of 2 days). It was a lump, so it rolled right off, but there is a little residue on the diaper. Do I get that off before I put it in the wash, or should I just toss it in the washer?

It's fine to leave the residue on the diaper and just throw it in the wash.  Anything solid/chunky should be removed though.

Sometimes I give it a tiny spray to keep the spot damp until laundry day but you really don't have to.
